Goth girl all forlorn, she walks a graveyard
Alone with just her memories on her mind
Wanders lonely as she’s seeking closure
And hoping it will be the healing kind

Memories these days are all she’s left with
Seems everything she loves, it fades and dies
Her made up face masks the pain inside her
But rarely will a tear fall from her eyes

Walking among the graves, she’s feeling closer
Closer to the one’s she’s loved and lost
Since every single one has left her lonely
She wonders why she’s left to count the cost

Resting just a while upon a gravestone
Its weathered facet warmed by summer Sun
Speaks of times now lost to her forever
Times when all their summer’s just begun

Goth girl all forlorn, she walks a graveyard
Alone with just her memories on her mind
Memories of all that she’s seen passing
The one thing that we all must do in time
